Eugene Edward "Geno" Wilkins, Jr., of Tarpon Springs, Florida, passed away peacefully in hospice care on December 22, 2024. Born on July 21, 1960, Geno’s life was marked by a love for the simple joys of life.

Raised in Delaware, Geno attended Caesar Rodney High School in Camden. After graduating, he served in the United States Air Force. Following his military service, he built a successful career at Baltimore Air Coil, where he was admired for his hard work and commitment. He continued his work of cooling systems for Pinellas County (FL) schools until his retirement in 2020.

Geno found joy in good music, hunting, fishing, and golfing and was known for his ability to bring fun and laughter to any occasion. His memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew him.

Geno is survived by his three children: Laura Hanly (Kevin), Eugene Wilkins III (Kaitlin), and Brandon Wilkins (Jessica). He was a proud grandfather to six beloved grandchildren: Grace, Caleb, Valerie, Grayson, Maggie, and Kelynn. He is also remembered by his sister Cathy and brothers Herb and Guy, as well as many cherished nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Eugene, Sr. and Janet Wilkins.
