Gene’O will be missed by so many. He will certainly be missed by me. We have been good friends since the Club Days.  Then worked together again at Dollar for another 11 years. Stayed close friends because we also had the horses in common.  

Gene loved his Boys to the end of the world and back.  He was so incredibly proud of both of them. We talked about his boys and my son often as Gene had seen my son grow up through the airport days.  

We consoled each other as we lost family members through the years. Lastly was his brother and my sister. He said he hoped he never saw the day his sister passed because he loved her so very deeply.  

This last year has been extremely challenging for me to connect with all of my friends. I’m caring for both of my elderly parents. I never returned the last call I got from my Dear Friend Gene’O. His message he left me, Annie, it’s me Gene -Gene’O , I miss you it’s been too long call me. Love you. 

We always said , Love you.

Deepest condolences to his family & friends. I fondly remember Gene from his days at Dollar Rent a Car. I ran into him a few years ago. Had not seen him in years. May he RIP.
