Eugene's obituary
Eugene Martinez
October 8, 1944 - - February 18, 2025
It is with deep sorrow that I announce the passing of my father on February 18, 2025. At LDS hospital he fought & lost to Covid-19 & pneumonia with his devoted daughter by his side holding his hand. As he did hers throughout her life.
Being a devoted Christian, he prayed and read the bible daily. He was welcomed home by his beloved son Richard, his parents, & grandparents. He leaves behind his cherished daughter, Lisa Obryan, & his grandkids Connor & Breeana who were the light of his life.
Eugene's legacy of kindness and unconditional love will forever live on through them. His loss will be deeply felt by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
We will remember Eugene as a beacon of warmth and wisdom. His memory shall remain etched in our hearts, guiding us to live life with integrity and compassion, the way he did.
A Memorial Mass will be held at 11:00 am on Friday March 14, 2025,
With a light lunch after mass at the Benvegnu Center on the church grounds
At St. Vincent De Paul Parrish located at 1385 E Spring Ln, Salt Lake City, UT 84117
