I will always miss our times on the course sharing laughter after bad shots, too many putts or just discussing family and friends.  Gene was the most affable person you could meet and would strike up a conversation with anyone around him.  He would always make them laugh and leave a good impression.

I'm so sad to hear of Eugene's departure from this life, I met him several years ago and we golfed together weekly when weather permitted. He always called me when there was a snow storm and said I'm waiting for you on the first tee at Mountain Dell. I found him to be kind, thoughtful, and honest in all his dealings with others and I will miss him dearly.
