Eugene's obituary
Gene enjoyed c.b. radios early in life, along with playing cards with close friends. Airplanes were a great passion of his and he loved flying them. His favorite childhood food was watermelon, which he proved by sneaking them out of his mom's garden. He also enjoyed throwing a line in to catch that ever elusive fish. Our dad could fix anything, just ask him! He loved to find things around the house that he "believed" needed to be fixed. The one thing that he was most proud of was his family; he loved the time he spent with all of them. We Love You Dad!
Gene is preceded in death by his mother and father, Zelma Ruth Button Jones Hoflin and Eric Axel Hoflin; brother, Ruben Eric Hoflin; and half brothers, Frank Jones and Paul Jones. He is survived by his children: Tamala "Tammy" (Paul) Dodge of Billings, MT, Kristina Hoflin of Bridger, MT, Marc (Victoria) Hoflin of Billings,MT, and Stacey Hoflin of Billings,MT; his brother, David Jones of Rapid City, MI; 9 grandchildren; and 21 great- grandchildren.
Internment will take place at 10:00 AM Saturday August 21st at Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Billings, and a Celebration of Life at 2:00 PM at 301 West Fairlane Avenue in Bridger, MT.
