Etta Jane Hanvey of Rancho Cordova, California passed away Wednesday October 24, 2018 due to complications from hip surgery, she was 87 years old. Jane was born February 18, 1931 in Oklahoma and raised by her extended family after her mother died giving birth to her. After high school Jane met Bernie Hanvey and moved west with their two daughters Mary and Linda to California where they eventually settled down in Rancho Cordova in 1962.

She worked as a bank teller and later an administrative assistant. She enjoyed spending time with her family, attending Sun River Church and watching her favorite TV shows. She is survived by her daughters Mary Ruiz and Linda Corum, grandchildren Frank Bracamonte, Jesse Ruiz and Laura Malia and great grandchildren Timothy Bailey, Ashley Bailey, Brandon Bailey and Nicholas Bracamonte. She was preceded in death by granddaughter Jacqueline Bailey.

A graveside service will be held at 1pm November 7, 2018 at the Auburn District Cemetery 1040 Collins Dr, Auburn, CA 95603.

A memorial service will be held 11am November 15th at Sun River Church.
