Ethel Collier Shaw passed away on Thursday November 17, 2022 surrounded by family. Mrs. Shaw is survived by her brother Dan Shaw (Robb) and wife, Linda Shaw, daughters Beth, Christy, and Julia and her son, Bailey. 

              Ethel Shaw was born February 11, 1938 in Ridley Park, PA and graduated from Tower Hill highschool in 1956.  She was a member of the 4H Club in her younger years. Ethel was a homemaker while her children were young, then worked as a recreation aide for several years at Fairview Elementary. She spent over 15 years working in the Jr. Board Giftshop at Kent General Hospital. Crafting was her passion. She was known for her creativity, fun crafts and crochet projects. From crocheting each of her children and grandchildren their own blankets to the ultimate holiday crafts made from the heart, crafting brought her comfort especially after Charles passed.

 She was very active in her children's and grandchildren's lives, always supporting their activities.

She passed peacefully and will be missed by her family and friends. The family asks in lieu of flowers, please send donations to the White Clay Presbyterian of Newark ,15 Polly Drummond Hill Rd, Newark, DE 19711.
