Ethel, 65, passed away on March 30, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of love and cherished memories. She was born to Alfonso and Josefa Lara in Capiz, Philippines.

Ethel was a loving mother, survived by her daughters, Cleofe (Jerome), Ruth (Chuckie), Rebecca (Giovanni), and Elizabeth. She was a cherished grandma to Kayden, Lincoln and Kayzen.

Ethel will be remembered for her strength, deep love for her family, and strong, unwavering faith in God. Her presence will be profoundly missed, but her spirit will continue to live on in the lives of all who knew and love her.

May she rest in eternal peace.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 4th from 12 PM until time of service at 2 PM at Smith-Corcoran Funeral Home 1104 Waukegan Rd. Glenview, IL 60025
