Ethan James Lippold (2003–2024)

Ethan James Lippold, 21, of Austin, Texas, went home to be with his Loving God on Mar. 14, 2024. He was born in Austin on Feb. 12, 2003, and was the son, and only child, of Aaron James Lippold and Crystal Anne Devine. Ethan graduated from the Texas School for the Deaf in 2021, having attended TSD since he was 18 months old.

Ethan was compassionate and kind. He loved God, his family, and their pets. He had a soft spot for all animals, but doted on Bailey the Bunny most of all. He loved learning new things, exercising, motorcycles, and working with his hands. He was an adventurer at heart.

Ethan will be missed every single day by those who loved him best.

In addition to his parents, Ethan is survived by paternal grandparents Bill and Karen Kolniak Lippold, and maternal grandparents Rick Devine and Teresa Brewer Devine; great-grandmothers Joyce Eady Brown and Barbara Anne Kolniak; aunts Amanda (Mike) Cottle, Carlene (Alex) Galaviz, and Amanda (Joseph) Little; great-uncle Jeff (Sheila) Brewer; cousins Audrey Cottle, Ben Cottle, Abby Little, Ariel Little, Hailey Dudziak, and Esperanza Galaviz; stepmother Maria Acorda and stepbrothers Matt, Jealious, Moizes, and Scott Ordillano.

Ethan was preceded in death by his uncle Garrett Lippold, his great-grandfather John Brown, and his Deaf great-great grandparents Fillmore and Delia Uptain Brewer. Pallbearers will be Aaron Lippold, Alex Galaviz, Jealious Ordillano, Mike Cottle, Jeff Brewer, and Anne Devine with honorary pallbearers Bill Lippold and Ben Cottle.
