Ethan's obituary

# Ethan Huiras-Young

**June 28, 2002 - November 8, 2022**

Ethan Huiras-Young, 20, passed away on November 8, 2022, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and unforgettable memories that will forever live in the hearts of all who knew him.

Born on June 28, 2002, Ethan lived his twenty years with an infectious enthusiasm that touched everyone he encountered. His beautiful blue eyes and natural charisma drew people to him like a magnet, and his genuine kindness ensured that no one ever walked away from meeting him unchanged.

Ethan was pursuing his dream of becoming a pilot and had already begun flight training with an instructor—a testament to his determination and ambition. His love for adventure extended beyond aviation; he was a world traveler who embraced every opportunity to explore new places and create lasting memories.

Above all, Ethan was a devoted family member. His siblings—Brooklyn, Lily, Avery, Briar, and Colton—were his pride and joy. He welcomed their constant presence with patience and love that went far beyond his years. When Ethan walked through the front door, he was greeted like a rock star by his adoring siblings, who would screech with delight and run to him for hugs, tickles, and his undivided attention. Each child received his full focus, making them feel like the most important person in the world.

Ethan possessed a generous spirit and delighted in surprising the people he loved with thoughtful gifts and gestures. He would text his mom at 2 AM just to say "Mom, I love you," and regularly surprised her with flowers.

Ethan had an extraordinary ability to make others feel cherished and valued. He was forgiving and accepting of every situation and person, embracing people regardless of their identity, mistakes, or race—he truly loved everyone. His exceptional love for animals was matched only by his love for people, and his charisma was something you had to see to believe.

His sense of humor, which perfectly mirrored his mother's, brought constant laughter to those around him. He was genuinely hilarious and had the rare gift of finding joy in simple moments spent with the people he loved most. His romantic heart and easy charm endeared him to many, and his family lovingly teased him about his hopeless romantic nature.

Those who knew Ethan remember his quick wit, his persistent optimism, and his refusal to give up, even when facing challenges. He was intelligent, thoughtful, and consistently put others before himself. His hobbies reflected his zest for life: he loved reading and learning, spending time with family, driving at every opportunity, gaming, and connecting with friends through social media.

Ethan's presence lit up every room he entered. His laughter was contagious, his smile was radiant, and his ability to charm his way out of any trouble was legendary among family and friends. He had the rare gift of being universally loved and liked—a testament to his genuine character and caring nature.

Though his time with us was far too short, Ethan's impact was immeasurable. He leaves behind countless memories of joy, love, and laughter. His family finds comfort in knowing that his beautiful spirit touched so many lives and that his memory will continue to bring smiles to those who were blessed to know him.

Ethan was preceded in death by his beloved sister, Brianna Krueger; his grandfather, Ernie Young; his grandmother, Sheri Young; and his great-grandparents, Marguerite young,  Henry McCauley, and Carol Mora.

Ethan is survived by his mother and stepfather, Heather and Bryan Krueger; his beloved siblings, Brooklyn, Lily, Avery, Briar, and Colton; his brother by choice, Colton Simms; Ian and Gabrielle Young; his grandmother, Terry Mora; his great-grandmother, Wathenia McCauley; his aunts, Windy and Samantha Hamilton; his uncle, Gay Andy Young; and his cousins, Max and Zoe, Isabella and Anastasia Young, Elizabeth and Alexis (Archer) Young, and Kaylee, Tessa, Dominic, Trey, and Ivan, who will forever carry his love in their hearts.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you remember Ethan by showing kindness to others, pursuing your dreams with his same determination, and cherishing the precious moments with those you love.

Ethan's light will continue to shine through all the lives he touched. He will never be forgotten.
