Esther, a longtime resident of Las Vegas, passed away on October 12, 2025 at the age of 75. Born to Enrique and Venice Mopera, Esther was the oldest of 4 girls. She embarked on a life of travel alongside her Navy husband, with memories forged in Angeles City, Olongapo, Washington, and California before eventually putting down permanent roots in Las Vegas.

Esther is now reunited with her Mamang and Papang. She is survived by her sisters, Lerma (Doug), Remee, and Baby (Ruben); her children, Mike (Grace), Venice, and Garreth; her grandchildren, Mikey, AJ, Jazmyn, Indyca, Siyan, Ivory, Maurley, Selene, Danielle, Matthew, and Mackenzie; and her great-grandchildren, Aaliyah, Aria, and Ayden.

Esther will be remembered for many things, but most of all for her incredible cooking, a talent that brought joy and comfort to those privileged enough to share a meal at her table. Her culinary creations will be greatly missed.
