Esther's obituary
Esther May Malowitz Anna, known affectionately as Funny Face, was called home to the Lord on March 24, 2024, in Buffalo, NY, after 90 years of a life rich with grace and kindness. Born on July 14, 1933, in Darien, NY, to the late Charles and Anna, Esther walked a path of faith, her every step marked by humility and a deep reverence for all of God's creation.
A devoted servant of God, Esther embodied the fruits of the Spirit; her love, joy, and peace shone brightly through her perpetual smile and the gentle warmth of her presence. A mother not only to her own children but to all whose lives she touched, she wove threads of compassion and care as effortlessly as she crocheted her beloved crafts.
Left to cherish her memory and continue her legacy of love are her children: Bonnie Hewitt (Gregory Hewitt), Charles Anna (Susan Anna), Linda Ball (Lloyd Ball), Michael Anna (Redell Anna), and Cindy Anna. Her spiritual light will also live on through her grandchildren: Jonathan Anna, Laurie Pall (Andrew Pall), Heather Hewitt (Dr. Christopher Lowery), and Erin Nowakowski (James Nowakowski II), and her great-grandchildren: Ethan Anna, Lydia Pal, Nathan Pal, Dane Pal, Emerson Lowery, Leighten Nowakowski, and Cole Nowakowski.
In gratitude for the gift of her life and the blessings she bestowed upon us, a service to honor Esther's humble heart and devout spirit will be held at First Baptist Church of Attica on Friday, March 28th, 2024 at 9 am for family and loved ones. We take solace in knowing that she has been welcomed into the eternal embrace of our Heavenly Father, and her spirit will continue to guide and inspire us until we meet again in His glorious Kingdom.
