Internment at South Haven Cemetery, 5004 Meridian St NW, Edmonton. Pastor Larry Lindoff presiding.
Esther was born October 14, 1921, on a small farm near Fox Valley, Sask. Married in 1943 in Sask, Esther & Slim settled in Medicine Hat where Val & Glenn were born. In 1969, the family moved to Edmonton.
Esther loved people & entertaining. Her meals, pies & kuchen legendary. As were her beautiful roses and flower rock gardens. She loved singing, in the church choir, as well as when she went about her daily work. Esther was a steadfast believer in Jesus telling others about His love for them. Enthusiastically embracing life, she often spoke of the wonder and promise of being eternally with Jesus. Today she is joyfully in His Presence.
Special Thank You to Serenity Funeral Home and wonderful staff who have been so helpful & kind. The family would like to express deepest appreciation to the staff at Rutherford Heights during Esther's time there and to Allen Gray Continuing Care where she spent her last years.
Memorial donations in Esther’s honor would be appreciated for her favorite group giving out Bibles. Gideons International Canada – www.Gideons.ca/donate/ MEMORIAL VIDEOS HERE! Please copy & paste URLS into your Internet browser or Click to View:
