Faye and Dick are "salt of the earth" kind of people. The whole family is musical, and seeing Faye singing reminds me how much she loved to sing praises. Take my hand, precious Lord was one of her favorite songs, as well as Sweet Beulah Land. She was a fixture in the CCC and in God's kingdom 🙏 many, MANY blessings to you she had to leave behind. EmmaLee, you did a perfect job capturing her in your loving obituary. My favorite part is..."I get to be a cadaver, repeated." I can hear her saying that. I know the last few months have been hard on all of you. But, it graces me to remember her through your words for her.
Faye and I grew up in Conestee and she drove my school bus. I use to go up to her house and talk to her daddy about his 57 Chevy and he promised me that he would save it for me but when girls came into my life I forgot girls. I had the same birthday as Faye but mine is 11/16/1950 and that kelp us when it was our birthday we would ask each other when is your birthday. She was a sweet friend that I will not forget. God bless all of the family and know we have all lost a very sweet lady. Leon Brock
