We are sad to announce the passing of Estevan ("Birdie") Castillo Enriquez of Sun Valley, Los Angeles County, California. He passed away at 11:35 a.m. on Wednesday, January 13, 2021 at the age of 77 in Burbank, California at Providence Saint Joseph Medical Center after contracting Covid-19. He was born on April 6, 1943 in San Antonio, Bexar County, Texas to his parents Cipriano Cano Enriquez and Carolina Castillo. His parents had 11 children, and Estevan was the eldest son, and 5th eldest child. He is survived by his six children, Estevan "Steve" Castillo Jr., Diane Enriquez-O'Dell (Bill), Guy Gabriel (Pam), Rudy (Macey), Ray Enriquez, and Monica Rocha (Abel), grandchildren, Kristin O'Dell, Phillip Enriquez, Bobby, Natalia and Nico Rocha, many nieces and nephews, and his second wife, Ann Nguyen. He loved to dance and was dancing at clubs up until Covid restricted him and others. He enjoyed listening and dancing to 80s music. He had a passion for coaching his kids in various sports, and playing City of Glendale league softball with his eldest kids Steve, Rudy, and Diane, his brother Rudy "Peco," nieces and nephews. He was a very good son, brother, uncle and great father to his children. He was truly a kind-hearted person. Also, he was a hard worker and dedicated employee for many years with Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer (MGM) Studios Inc. and Technicolor as a film editor. He will be greatly missed by his children, relatives and friends. God has you in His arms, we have you in our hearts. Until we meet again, love you always.
