It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Ernest "Ernie" Rodgers, who left us peacefully on February 26, 2025. Born on November 18, 1975, Ernie lived a life filled with warmth, compassion, and spirit.

Ernie was an embodiment of resilience, optimism, and love. Despite the challenges life threw his way, he always wore a smile and had a spirit that could uplift anyone around him. His zest for life and his kind-heartedness will be greatly missed, but the memories of his selfless acts and the joy he brought to his friends and family will live on forever.

Ernie is survived by his precious daughters, Alex and Alisha Rodgers, and his beloved sons Scott and Caleb Rodgers.. He was a beacon of strength and wisdom for his children and taught them the value of kindness and treating every soul with respect. His spirit will live on through them.

He is also survived by his sister, Christal Swiberg. Their bond was impenetrable, and Christal would often refer to Ernie as her 'rock'. He was a tower of support and love for her during tough times.

While we mourn the loss of a great man, we take comfort in the fact that Ernie is at peace and free of the burdens of this world. It's hard to say goodbye, but we know that his spirit will forever be a guiding light for all of us who were fortunate enough to have known him.
