Ernie, I was fortunate to know you and your brother Eddie since the fourth grade. Our paths took different directions and I am grateful we reconnected. Fair Winds and Following Seas my friend until we meet again. Thank you for being you with all your talent and love for life. I am grateful for the blessing of calling you a friend. I love you uncle Ernie. You live in our hearts forever. Here’s to The “cool” tio showing off his super manual driving skills on the way to pick up Chinese take out. The comic strip section of the newspapers on the weekends at wita’s house. The encouraging words when my sisters and I would draw stick figures and call it art. Nacho cheese Mac and cheese. Here’s too cool costumes, “you know I helped create that scene”, the “your dad and us used to…” stories and beautiful art. In these moments and memories of mine you live on. Till Valhalla.
Uncle Ernie, I am so sorry I never got to come see you.. I will always cherish the time we did spend together and everything you did for my siblings and I. I am so glad that you have found peace and that you enjoyed all of the time that you spent on earth. I love you and I dont feel like I'll ever be able to say that enough. I will look for you in the green flash at sunset if I am every fortunate enough to catch it. Your memory lives with us.
