She is survived by her daughter, Kerthia Adams and Son, Michael Awosika. Her Family were the jewels of her life, her constant joy, and her guiding light. Also, Her (4) Amazing Grandchildren: Francis Holt, Alvin Adams Jr., Michael Adams & Ameryrah Adams (5) Great-Grandchildren: Daquan Ames Jr., Olivia Holt, Nolan Holt, Prince Emerald Adams & Prince Messiah Adams. The bond between them was as strong and enduring as the mother's & Nana's love that nurtured it. She is also survived by a hosts of Family & Friends Whom Ernestine Loved Very Much.
Ernestine was a woman of diverse interests. She loved crabs and found immense joy in the soulful tunes of Marvin Gaye, Sam Cooke, Luther Vandross, and Aretha Franklin. She was a fan of the television show 'Young and The Restless', and the Pittsburgh Steelers held a special place in her heart. A lover of games, she often engaged in rounds of cards with friends and family. Most of all, She Loved the Lord.
Watching the Olympics was one of her greatest joys, hinting at her spirit of athleticism and competitiveness. She loved to travel, with London being her favorite vacation spot many years ago. A lover of aesthetics, Ernestine had an affinity for the color Orange.
