Ernestina (Tina) Harrison, 79, passed away Tuesday, October 5, 2021, at Providence Hospital.

Tina was born April 6, 1942 in Brownsville, Texas to the late Jose and Maria Garza. She met and married Joseph Douglas Harrison (Joe), and together they went on to have their beautiful daughter, Teresa Jones. Her daughter later blessed her with four grandchildren, who would then bless her with three great grandchildren.

Tina’s final hours were full of warmth & love, stories, prayer and song. Tina was surrounded by her daughter Teresa, and her four grandchildren: Trenten, Tabatha, Talina, and Timothy as she passed away peacefully.

Our grandmother, Tina, was a tenacious, vivacious, God loving woman. Stitched together with Grit and Grace as she walked purposefully through life. Tina was known by many, and respected by all. She was a member of the Catholic Church, and a homemaker. She was a businesswoman and a friend.

A sister.

A mother and a daughter.

A wife and a grandma.

A Hero.
