While on vacation in Gulf Shores, a random stranger walked up to our vehicle & knocked on the window. I rolled it down. She had noticed our license plate & told us they were also from TN, one county over. After introductions, she realized I was Carmen LeMaster’s mother-in-law. She told us she did a lot of work for the Carl Perkins Center because of Carmen’s father, Kyle Dewberry. She shared her reasons for being so fond of Kyle but that personal story is not mine to tell. However, she adamantly proclaimed that Kyle is her hero! She is eternally grateful for the role he played in her story! Just thought his daughters would like to know.
