Ernest Cole Jr., Age 66, of Hattiesburg, MS, passed away November 9th at Forrest General Hospital. He was better known as “Suga Pie,” or “Sug”. Throughout the years of building his career he became very invested and passionate about his company of 40 years known as “Cole Drywall & Painting.”

Ernest will be preceded in death by his mother and father Doris and Ernest Cole Sr. His uncles L.C. Cole, Louis Cole, and Steve Cole. His aunts Arlene Cole and Lillie Johnson. His niece, Joann Nelson, and other family, friends, and associates that he knew.

Ernest Cole Jr. leaves behind to cherish his wife, Ruby Cole, of 50 years. He also loved and will leave behind his children, Doris Cole-Rankin and her husband Kenneth Rankin, Ernest Cole III, and Terrence Cole. His grandchildren A’shyla, Patricia, and Ernest D. Cole IV. His sister Dorothy Crosby, and brother Roosevelt Jackson Sr. including all of their children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. His entire Frog Pond and Goula Family. They will all miss him more than anything and will forever cherish their memories.
