Ernie was not just my next door Neighbor but the best of friends. We talked often about Christ and he always gave me the best advice. And yes we shared the same political Views 🙏🏻 Thank the Lord .We shared a lot of storytelling and he helped me through the recent loss of my parents Bob and Shirley married 70 years and had the same Bible based beliefs as Ernie. I felt better after every conversation but most of all I wanted to be a better Christian every time I walked away. I grew to Love him as a friend and mentor and I will greatly miss him until we gather again in the presence of are glorious Lord !
God bless his Family friends and our countryÂ
“Vote the Bible “ that’s how Ernie would like it !Â
Uncle Ernie was one of best story tellers in the family. I remember sitting around at family gatherings and listening to him and Uncle Bob spin story after story about the family. Most of these stories were something humorous about someone or some event that happened in the family. All the while, I was thinking these stories needed to be recorded in some way. I am so grateful most of them were, when all the brothers and sisters still living after 2000, took the time to write their stories. I also remember Uncle Ernie being a gentle spirit filled with incredible wisdom.Â
To All the Coburn Family:  Peace and Joy to You knowing this wonderful Man of God, Ernest is now with the Lord.   My condolences, as  I know you will miss being with him  for a short time,  However, when I think of Earnest with Jesus, all I can do is smile. He was a great inspiration to me in how to  walk your walk with the Lord from the day I first met him as a teenager. I celebrate the life of Ernest,  and am eternally grateful for the life he lived. Love, Dave
