Ernie's obituary

Ernest "Ernie" Buckley, age 66, passed away on May 07, 2025 after a courageous battle with cancer and other medical complications and illnesses.

Ernie was born on March 22, 1959, the baby of 9 even if by 5 min of his twin sister Ann. survived by sister Christina "Ann" McCue husband Edward McCue, sister Gloria Thomas and brother Bruce Buckley and many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Ernie was a lover of animals having adopted several rescues himself over the years. Even as his health declined his concern shifted to how and who would care for his beloved Daisy puppy. Daisy was one of a few special friends he filled his life with after the loss of his very special girl, Wishbone. In respect to this we ask that in lue of flowers a donation be made to a local animal shelter in his name.

Ernie's spirit will be carried on by his beloved life long friends/family, the Moons, With a very special thanks to Keith and the entire Moon family for being there by his side throughout most of his life. For being his second family in every way that matters most as well as seeing him through his health battles. Keith, for stepping up and helping facilitate the final arrangements. We love you, and can't thank you enough.

To Adam and Antonio for helping fulfill his bucket list this past year with most recently his dreams of going to Disney and Universal in Orlando, we are so thankful he got to have this and you made it possible! We will love you forever for this!

With special mention to Chris Henry who was a maintained life long friend from childhood, he thought dearly of.
