Background

This is not something I would normally do. My father 'Bud' has dementia/alzheimers and has been in a nursing home for almost 2 years. Recently I have had to place him on hospice to help with pain management. Over the past few days his health took a significant decline and I am now be told he is at end of life stages. Unfortunately nothing was ever discussed or set aside and as quickly as things have progressed I am working to pull together funds to cover his passing when it happens. I would truly appreciate any help or donations. This has truly been the hardest thing I have ever been through, from my father no longer recognizing me to now starting to prepare for his passing. I am trying to take this day by day with all of the responsibilities put on my shoulders. I thank anyone who donates or offers kind words at this time.

My father passed around 10 PM on May 3rd. I am absolutely heartbroken. He will be cremated and will come home with me until I am ready to let him go and release his ashes in northern Maine where he wished to be.

I would appreciate any help no matter how small for the expenses of his cremation.
