Background
Momme was always helpful to anyone in need - family, friends, strangers. Even if she didn't have much to give, she'd always share what she had. She was active in and supportive of her church (Hayward Seventh Day Adventist Church, and the Sacramento Central SDA Church). She supported many charitable organizations such as the American Red Cross, American Heart Association, Feeding America, Disabled American Veterans, and many others.
In Momme's honor, in 2023, we (through the Erlinda D. Cruz Memorial Fund) sponsored a six-year old girl in the Philippines through the Unbound program. Unbound partners with families living in poverty, empowering them to become self-sufficient and fulfill their desired potential.
We also support and encourage others to support Pathways Home Health (pathwayshealth.org) so they can continue their noble work of providing care, comfort and grace to anyone in their end-of-life stage. Pathways Home Health helped make possible Momme to have a comfortable, quality, and grace-filled final two months of her beautiful and blessed life. The nurses, doctors and staff made sure Momme was taken care of. They were responsive, caring and compassionate. We are grateful for their help!
Momme was a most generous person. Her generosity reminds us of the words of Jesus, "Give to everyone who asks of you, and whoever takes away what is yours, do not demand it back. Treat others the same way you want them to treat you." - Luke 6:30-31 NASB
With the generous help of family and friends through the Erlinda Cruz Memorial Fund, we continue Momme's charitable works in her honor! Thank you all so much for your help and support. God bless! Contribute to Pathways Home Health and Hospice
