It is hard to think of Erin with her high energy, unusual sense of humor and great authenticity and know she’s not here on earth any longer. She wasn’t easy to be around all the time, but she surely made life interesting. I cherish the memories of that smile, that energy, and that talent.

I met Erin in Arcola at Brentwood Stables in 1974. I remember her being fearless and highly competitive with everyone working at the stables. She was a lot of fun and I have great memories of us riding horses, jumping horses, racing horses, and playing tag on horses. We lost track after high school.
I often looked for her online, but didn’t find her and now I found her today - on this obituary unfortunately. My condolences go out to all of you. I wish I looked for her more recently - it turns out that she was in Sumerduck, only 40 minutes away.

Hi there. I'm writing as a former coworker of Erin's (from probably 22 years ago.) So saddened to hear the news today. Erin was so bright and funny. For every new season of Survivor, I held out hope that she would appear one day in the cast because she mentioned trying out for the show a few times. Her love of horses was her passion and joy. Erin will not be forgotten, she was a hoot. My condolences to the family and her friends.
