Erin Cristan Jones, 51, of Mart, Texas, passed away peacefully at her home on August 8, surrounded by love.

Born with a strong spirit and a giving heart, Erin dedicated part of her life to service in the United States Air Force. Though her journey there was cut short, she carried the values of strength and resilience into everything she did. Above all, she was a loving mother, devoted partner, and the kind of friend who could light up any room with her warmth.

Erin is survived by her partner, Tom L., and her four beloved children, who were the center of her world: Ashley R. (33), Parker J. (26), Delaney J. (24), and Cohan J. (21). To them, and to all who knew her, she will be remembered for her laughter, kindness, and unwavering love.

Her family takes comfort in the words of a prayer close to her heart:

“Now I lay me down to sleep,

I pray the Lord my soul to keep.

If I should die before I wake,

I pray the Lord my soul to take.”

Erin’s memory will live on in the love she gave, the lessons she taught, and the countless lives she touched.
