Erin's obituary

After a three-year battle with ALS, Erin Nicole Brady (née Marcucci), aged 32, passed away on November 30, 2022 at home in Waxahachie, TX surrounded by her loving family. She is survived by her husband, Logan Brady, and her three little girls, Penelope Elizabeth (6), Quinn Marie (4) and Charlie Nicole (2). Erin is also survived by her father, Pasquale John Marcucci, mother, Dawn Marie Lemieux, and her sisters, Amanda Marie Marcucci and Megan Elizabeth DiBlasio (née Marcucci).

Erin was born in Meriden, Connecticut, on July 13, 1990. She grew up in Northford, CT, where she fell in love with the art of dance under the instruction of her amazing teachers at The Dancer’s Studio in Northford, CT. After graduating from North Branford High School and the Educational Center for the Arts in New Haven, she went on to study Dance at the University of the Arts in Philadelphia.

Erin married the love of her life, Logan, on January 8, 2016 in Newport, RI. They settled in Cheshire, CT where together they founded The Cheshire Performing Arts Academy. Erin continued to share her passion for dance with hundreds of students over the five years they owned the studio. Her legacy will live on through them.

On behalf of our family, we would like to acknowledge and thank Erin’s caregivers, Bristol Hospice, the many generous and loving people of the Waxahachie community that gave so much of their time and energy to Erin and her family, and to our CT family, friends and dance community who provided supported to Erin and her family through numerous fundraisers and visits to Waxahachie. Due in large part to the care and support she and her family received, Erin was able to remain home during her illness and spend every day with her family, which meant everything to her and to her family.

Catholic services were held at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Waxahachie on Friday, December 2, 2022. There will be a Celebration of Erin’s Life on Saturday, January 28th in her hometown of Northford, CT at Heritage Homestead, 66 Lanes Pond Road, from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Erin Brady Memorial Scholarship Fund or the ALS Association. This new scholarship fund will allow Erin's legacy to live on by providing financial assistance to young dancers who otherwise may not be able to afford to practice their art.
