A beloved daughter, granddaughter, sister, niece, cousin and friend, Erika Filosa left this world unexpectedly on July 28th, 2020. Born in San Francisco on October 26th, 1983 to Linda and Rolf Filosa. Erika grew up in Moraga, California. She received her esthetician license in 2007 and worked at True Spa and Bare in San Francisco before starting her own salon Skin Deep in 2018.

She is survived by her father, Rolf Filosa; sister, Amber Hersch and Amber’s husband, David, and their children, Olivia and Gabriel; grandparents, Louise and Richard Myers; aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Erika is preceded in death by her mother, Linda Allen, and stepfather Brad Allen; and grandparents, Barbara and Peter Filosa.

Erika was a beautiful, sweet, and welcoming soul who was always there for those blessed to have known her. She lived a life of laughter, rich with experience, love, and countless friends. She will be fondly remembered and deeply missed.

Erika will be laid to rest near her mother at Oakmont Cemetery in Lafayette, California.

Visitation 4:00 pm – 8:00 pm on Friday, August 7th at the Oakmont Cemetery. Open to all.

Funeral Services are at 10:00 am on Friday, August 14th for family only.

Celebration of Life event at Ocean Beach (across from the Beach Chalet) in San Francisco on Saturday, August 15th from 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm. Open to all.
