With deep love and heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Erika Dunai, who left this world peacefully on October 11, 2025, at the age of 74.

Born in Budapest, Hungary, on January 2, 1951, Erika lived a life full of warmth, strength, and quiet grace. She was a woman devoted to her family, her faith, and the enduring power of love. Erika built a bright and meaningful life alongside her beloved husband, Jozsef Dunai, who preceded her in passing. Together, they created a home filled with laughter, resilience, and unwavering support—a legacy that continues to shine through their children and grandchildren.

Erika is lovingly survived by her sons Andor, Viktor, and Adam, who carry forward her values and spirit. She was a cherished grandmother to Martin, Dani, Corvin, Joseph,and Stelio, and to her daughter in laws Olga, Shannon, and Katerina. Each of them brought her immense pride and joy, and her gentle presence will forever be a guiding light in their lives.

A woman of deep faith, Erika found strength and solace in her love for God and was surrounded by a community of dear friends who enriched her days with connection and kindness. Her door was always open, her table always welcoming, and her heart always full.

Erika’s life was a testament to compassion, devotion, and quiet courage. Though she is no longer with us in body, her love remains—woven into the lives she touched and the hearts she nurtured.

A service will be held to honor her memory. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you hold your loved ones close and remember Erika through acts of kindness and love.
