This is Kris, Erik's brother. 

Unfortunately, this memorial was created by a person whom I do not know and no one I know is familiar with this person.

I think it would be more appropriate and respectful if they would allow me to write and post his obituary but the website won't take it down unless the original person does so, who may be working with a fictional name.

Needless to say it's irritating and hurtful especially since the person didn't include one picture of his immediate family on the post or reference that he was an uncle to my daughter, who was the first person to find this and was terribly upset that she was left off like she didn't exist in Erik's life.

Anyway didn't want to put that on you but I wanted it on this page so others will see it.

I was so sorry to hear about Erik's passing. He had an enormous spirit and was a brillant lawyer.   My husband and I met Erik many years ago through our friendship with George Franklin. Erik became a friend too and we shared many strategy sessions about respective legal cases.  He will be missed.  Our thoughts and prayers are with his wife and family during this difficult time.
