With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Erick Israel Espinosa Resendez, who left us far too soon on May 14, 2025 in Centennial, CO. Born on December 28, 2002 in Las Vegas, Nevada Erick bore the vital energy of an endearing spirit, whose time among us was marked by his warmth, kindness, patience, love, and affectionate nature. 

Erick never hesitated to jump in and help anyone with anything, to be a shoulder to cry on, or to have heartfelt and deep conversations with his family and friends. While he battled depression he still always found a way to crack a joke, karaoke with his family, play guitar for his son Kolvan, and raise awareness on mental health. 

Erick was the embodiment of a loving soul, teaching us through his actions and words to hold our loved ones close and to love without condition or limit. His sweet and loving demeanor touched all who had the good fortune to cross paths with him. The depth of his patience was a testament to his extraordinary ability to understand and empathize with those around him.

His legacy is one of remarkable courage, resilience, and an unwavering belief in following one's dreams. His determination and wish to join the military and start his family was admirable, and accomplished this as a true believer. Erick's spirit will continue to inspire us to fight relentlessly for what we love. He lived each day to its fullest, embracing every moment with passion and joy, leaving a profound impact in our hearts and minds.

Without a doubt, Erick will be deeply missed by everyone who knew him. His infectious laugh and beautiful perspective on life were a beacon of hope and positivity. His tender-hearted nature, genuine love for others, and an exceptional way of seeing the world around him made him a true gem in the fabric of our lives. As we navigate through this time of sorrow, may we remember the joy he brought us and let his legacy guide us towards a life lived in love and courage.

Erick is survived by his mother Jessica, father Erick, sister Steffany and her partner Andres, brother Joel and his partner Michelle, Alondra and her partner Stone and children Liam and Nova, his wife Bella, and son Kolvan, his grandparents Arturo and Lupe, and best friends Ish and his partner Bella, and Jay and his partner Jenna, and pet canine Tux.
