Erica graduated from Airport High School where she competed all over SC in flag line for the Marching Band. She started her first job at the age of 16 with Charlton Hall Galleries and obtained her Auctioneer License.

She was an active and proud member of the Columbia Roller Derby Community where she competed and refereed all over SC and Beyond with her teammates whom she referred to as “family”. Erica was known as “Gilly The Kid”.

She later hosted Music Bingo at several local establishments where she entertained and brought smiles to countless faces.

Erica was Fiercely in Love with her children who she affectionately called “butt” and “buddy”; they were her World. She was immensely Proud of them as humans. She was always Amazed by them in every facet of who they were and who they were becoming, their personalities, behavior, and mostly their Love for her and others. She was their biggest fan of all, and often said “see yall , I can’t believe I made them, I did something right”

She was a Beautiful Woman, one of the most Authentic and Trusting human beings you could ever know. Erica will be Remembered for her spunky personality, blunt since of humor, originality, and her voice and laughter you could not mistake. She was kindhearted and the biggest Cheerleader for all whom she cared about. She had a way of making everyone she interacted with feel Special and Unique to her.

She was Passionate about Derby, not just as a sport where she felt Strong and Empowered but mostly the close nit family, she developed over the years in which she Loved Dearly.

Erica is survived by her Loving children, Sadie, Maximus. Former husband Joshua Guillebeau, Parents Kenneth Benton, Tammy and Harry Fenske. Siblings Kenneth Benton (Brittany), Vanessa Riddick (Todd), Erica Felder, Austin Fenske. Grandfather Robert Irons. Aunts/Uncles Candice Long (Jeff), Kimberly Lybrand (David), Patrina Paxton (Chuck), Danny Haynes, Bobby Haynes (Tammy), Lee Benton (Margaret), Dale Benton, 1 niece, 6 nephews. And many cousins.
