Background
Eric was a football player at the University of Oregon (1994-1997). He was the starting fullback in 1997 and 1998 and was awarded the Pac 10 special teams player of the year twice. Eric suffered several concussions during his career and over the past few years we noticed significant changes in Eric's behavior and mood. We are thankful that we were able to donate his brain to CTE research, and hope that through this research and donations to the foundation, future athletes will be better protected.
