I started the Eric Wagner Appreciation group on fb years ago, to celebrate and honor the multi talented brilliant man. I woke up to the soul crushing and unexpected news from a friend who wrote "we lost Eric" and that really said it all for me. I sat in stunned silence, just trying to begin, to process what I had just read. I honestly wanted to stay offline, and go off somewhere by myself and grieve alone. But, this photo struck me so strongly, and idk, maybe it was just my imagination in my grief, but in my mind, it was like Eric speaking to me "Steve, man, I know you are hurting right now, but you have to be stronger, for them, to show the Light, in the gathered darkness, and find another day. So, not too proud to say that through tears, I put this awesome photo edit, as my cover photo, and then as the cover on the Eric group, and after that, it seemed to take on a life of its own, even being used on The Skull band page, and more than one YouTube video. I called Eric a friend, and the highest compliment that I can think of, said from the heart, is that through his voice, his words, his kindness towards me, and his heart, his overall very existence on this planet, greatly, greatly enhanced, the quality of mine. For my part, and I think I speak for many others, he will be remembered and honored, for all that he was in this realm, until the end of this world itself. Farewell, my special friend, and often counselor, even if he didn't always know it, that helped me through many times of sorrow and despair, the mighty hearted Eric Wagner. I’ve been rock nnn with Eric since the beginning - 70’s

seen live Trouble, Blackfinger, and Skull

I will miss Eric very much, especially his continued lllyyyrrrccclll prophecy over all albums/ cd’s he’s made and vocal’d.

I’ve only recently got Skull cd ‘endless road’ and from that cd I now have my most favorite tune by Eric

all that remains- is true ‘

When I heard the news, it broke my heart. I was a massive fan of Eric and his music. He has been an all-time favorite of mine since 1988 when I first heard "The Wish" by his then-band Trouble on Z-Rock radio. He is a legend and will be missed. Godspeed, Eric.
