Eric was a guy that I knew all through grade school, right through to Denbigh High. Friend of all, enemy of none. Just the most solid, nice dude. A guy who was so uncool, and so unconcerned with being cool, that he wrapped back around to being totally cool. Once we found out his middle name was "Slade," it was all over, he was "Slade," and he embraced it. Loved that guy and it's deeply unfair that he is gone so soon. He deserved twice the years he got, and more. Be seeing you, friend.

The Schneider/Rose family has always been special to me and my family. We think about them many times, the specialness in knowing them! Greg Koluch and family.

I enjoyed working with Eric and appreciated his attitude and positive presence. He was truly a great guy to be around. My prayers are with you and your family.

It is so familiar to recall Eric's gentle nature through the years we worked together. He often held the responsibility (and burden) of being the 'smartest guy in the room'. Stepping aside from that, for what is really important at a much deeper level, I will miss his candor toward every situation. He was one of the rarest type of individual that could take a room (or lab) full of people and just simply make it a better place.

Amy, I am sending hugs to you and your family. Anthony and I are out of the country, otherwise I'd be there in person. Eric was one of my most favorite people. I am so so sorry for your loss.
