This is such a shocking and heartbreaking thing to hear. Never know what to say in situations like this. My prayers are definitely with all of the family and friends that were in Eric life.
Time has a way of getting away from us, and life just tends to move us forward in different directions, and that is kinda what happened with the friendship I had with Eric. However, we shared some good times back in the old Redeemer days. Have some fond memories during that period in life. One funny memory I have of Eric that came to mind was when he had this huge slingshot thing on the back of his truck, that would launch, and I mean lunch water ballons. I remember launching them at people in the parking lot of Redeemer, and then watching a few people getting quite upset and all of us just laughing afterwards. I also remember just Eric being up for anything wether it be playing paintball, bonfires, trying to throw people in the pool, all sorts of other things.
Again I will have the entire family and friends in prayer during this difficult time. Hope that thru all the memories and stories, that there will be much laughter and celebration of Eric's life.

I remember when Eric and Cassie first started their fling. Eric was immediately infatuated with Cassie. At first sight. I knew after they connected they would end up married with kids. They had a connection at basic that all of us girls wanted and when i saw they got married I knew it was what was meant to happen. Eric was always so shy, but so nice and respectful. The pictures of his family have proven he was an awesome dad and husband. I hope he found the peace he needed. And I hope Cassie and the kids always remember he was so special.
