Our dad had a terminal brain injury called encephalomalacia and by the time we knew about it, it was irreversible. He fought hard for the past year to make his life as fulfilling as possible despite the fact that this disease robbed him of everything, including his vision, hearing, memory, ability to sleep comfortably, amongst other things. He was the strongest man we know, and we will find peace in knowing that he is no longer suffering.

He impacted so many people over his 62 years on this planet and the outpouring of love and support that we have received will never be matched. We will miss him every single day and will continue to tell his stories and make sure his memory lives on forever.
