Grafton, NH – Eric B. Poitras, 61, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, July 28, 2022. He was born to the late Everett & Patricia (Young) Poitras. He grew up in Enfield Center and graduated from Mascoma Valley Regional High School, class of 1978. He had worked as a Maintenance Technician for New Jersey Machine, Dartmouth Printing, and most recently UniFirst. In years past, he was a member of the Ski Patrol at Whaleback and enjoyed working on his own cars, trucks, and motorcycles. He also enjoyed his PlayStation and most especially riding his custom bike.

He is survived by his wife, Lynn (LaChance) Poitras; a daughter, Erica Poitras; a son, Zachary Poitras, and his significant other, Danielle; stepdaughter, Heather Clough, and her husband, Jason; a brother, Kevin Poitras, and his wife, Tammy; two grandchildren, Zara Poitras and Emmett Clough; and numerous beloved cousins. Eric also loved animals and leaves behind his cat Nina, and his granddog Ellie, and cat Oliver, all of whom he loved and totally spoiled.

Family and friends are invited to join us in sharing memories and thoughts of Eric on Saturday, August 27th from 1 to 5 PM at Mickey’s Roadside Café & Tavern Room, 330 US Rt. 4, Enfield NH 03748. Food and drink will be served. Overflow parking is available at the Enfield Community Center/Huse Park (There is a bridge if you walk across the field) In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to your favorite humane society/animal rescue.
