Dear Betsy and family, Thinking and praying for each of you during this time. 

We met Eric for the first time last year at the barn dance. The Bible clearly says that there is a time for everything. including a time to dance. Eric was truly a joy and an inspiration to us. We will always remember him.

I still can’t believe you’re gone. You were such a bright, pure spirit. funny, creative, and full of so much light. You had this rare, authentic energy that made people feel at ease.  You lived with such enthusiasm, chasing your ambitions with full heartedness, always thinking about how to care for your family.

It’s hard to find people as real as you in this world. You were honest and kind something that’s so rare these days.  You were always goofy but driven and full of passion. You left too soon, and it hurts. But you made a mark. The portrait you drew of my family and I now is a reminder of the life you lived.  Whenever we see it's now it's inspiration to chase our dreams and live life passionately.

Rest easy, my friend. You’ll always be with us.

My sincerest condolences to the Pfund family and all those who knew Eric.  Although I didn't know Eric personally,  about a decade ago,  I had worked at as an outside consultant for the family business for some time and got to know several members of the immediate family-Chris, Kurt and Katia.  Prayers to you guys and may his memory be for a blessing.
