Alice want to point out an interesting fact about Eric and pictures. When he would be in a picture, the right eye was always half closed. We had a struggle to get both eyes open when he took a picture with us. This is a funny fact about Eric other than meat had to be covered with Ketchup.

I met Mr. Marlett through Alexis. We have been friends since junior high. I was over their home one evening to hang out with Alexis, and I met Mr. Marlett. This was in Madera, CA sometime during the early 2000s. Although we met very briefly, he was very kind to me and had a great smile. He was happy that Alexis had found a friend at school and welcomed me there. I heard many stories about him from Alexis and how much he meant to her. I am sad to hear of his passing.
