Eric D. Knerr, 58, formerly of Danielsville, passed away unexpectedly from complications of the flu and pneumonia in Kinston, NC, on December 6, 2023. Born in Bethlehem, he was the youngest son of the late Winfield W. and Edna F. (Felker) Knerr.

Eric received his diploma from Nazareth Area High School and worked in the restaurant industry, mostly as a cook and food prep. After moving to North Carolina, he became a forklift operator for Fortissa, Inc. His hobbies included gardening, cooking, and playing a mean game of World of Warcraft. Eric was a self-taught handyman and faithfully attended Westminster United Methodist Church, where he charmed the older women. His favorite time of year was Christmas and he went over-the-top with decorating.

Survivors: devoted wife, Natalie (Kern) of Kinston, NC; beloved siblings, Sariann and Timothy of Moorestown, PA; his cherished pets Rocket, Nudge, and Stella; and numerous relatives.

A private viewing was held for the immediate family. Cremation took place a few days later. A Celebration of Eric’s Life will be held in July for family and friends.
