Eric Augustus Henry aka Teddy, was born in Kingston, Jamaica on February 27, 1950. He was the son of Myrtle Simpson and Joseph Henry, who both have predeceased him. Teddy was the only child, raised by his grandparents, Ferdinand and Iscilda Simpson and had several close cousins identified as sisters and brothers: Blossom, Kitty, Babes, Norma, Tony, Mickey, Anton and Noel just to name a few.
