Background
Eric was kind, creative, intelligent, practical and principled soul. Being a poppa to his daughter, Taia, became his purpose in life - so much so that he made the selfless decision to live a meager living in Japan to ensure that is daughter not only know the love of her father but would also have the presence and teachings of her African American heritage.
Your support and gifts will help cover any existing cost for the family to bring his remains back to the US and settle his final affairs, help support the family during this difficult time and help ensure that his heart, Taia has funds to pay for educational expenses and to stay connected with her American family.
