Erhardt (Art) Edmund Wachs, Jr. Born 11/28/35 to Erhardt and Angeline Wachs – Died 4/20/2022 in Redmond Oregon. A microbiologist who worked most of his career at the VA Medical System.

Survived by two sons, one daughter, four grandsons, and two great-grandsons

Preceded in death by his parents and beloved dogs Mischa, the Vizsla and Max the Weimaraner.

Art embraced multiple hobbies including but far from limited to; photography, woodworking and cooking and was passionate about sharing his interests with those he loved. He spent his final years perfecting his fish carving skills and making friends with other master carvers.

If you wish to memorialize Art, toast a glass of Scotch with a good friend and if you are able, bake a loaf of bread and share it with your loved ones while it is still hot and the butter melts.
