Enriqueta Zavala (a.k.a. Lourdes)

Age 83 passed away Sunday February 15, 2026, at UChicago Medicine Adventist Hospital in Bolingbrook. A resident of Crest Hill since 2007. She is survived by her loving husband Alfredo Zavala (91); children Sandra Zavala-Vincent, Steven Zavala, and Mauricio Zavala; siblings Sergio Izquierdo, and Norberto (Lucha) Izquierdo; grandson Leonardo Sanchez, also numerous nieces & nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents Norberto and Consuelo Izquierdo also siblings Amelia Izquierdo Navarro and Jamie Izquierdo. She was known to fill happy stomachs of any guests in her home with her passion for Mexican cooking and cake designs. Visitation Friday from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Anderson Memorial Home, 21131 W. Renwick Rd., Plainfield, IL 60544. Funeral Saturday February 21, 2026, 10:45 am from the funeral home chapel to Cathedral of St. Raymond Nonnatus in Joliet for an 11:30 am Mass of Christian Burial. Services conclude at the church, cremations rites to be accorded.
