I was so sorry to hear about Rico’s passing. He was such a gentleman in a bro culture and rivaled my beloved husband in style.

He was gracious, kind and a lovely colleague for 8 years.

Still processing this terrible news after finding out just last night. Wishing now that we talked more often over the years, though I am glad that we did stay in touch and found time to laugh and remember the good old days as we got older. You are and will be missed Rico, but remembered always for what you remain - a true friend.

Rest in peace and we’ll see you again one day - smiling and laughing as if no time had passed at all.

Rico always busy!

Rico always busy!
Ricola! You will me missed! I worked with Rico at OAN in 90s. He worked in production and whenever I needed his help I yelled Ricola! Like the commercial. It always made him smile. Rico was a great colleague to work with; funny as hell, helpful, collaborative and kind. Seriously! I am so sorry for this huge loss to his family. I will attach a picture I have of him at his fdesk in our offices at Van Nuys.
This news really hurts. I worked with Rico at my first “Real” job. Such a good guy and made work fun.  Rest in Peace friend.  You will be dearly missed .

My condolences to Rico’s family specially his boys Nicko and Alex. I am still in shock and cannot describe how sad I am.  I didn’t know of his passing until couple days ago.   I met Rico in 1993 when he started working at OAN.  We worked at the Helpdesk and we became great friends, we would always be there for each other. We had great times laughing together and making fun of each other calling each other Rookie because we didn’t do our job right .  His Favorite word to us  “bunch of  Rookies” so many great memories.  When the boys were little he would never make it to the happy hour gatherings at work because  he would say “ I have to pick up my boys”  what a great Dad.

He would call me every year for Mother’s Day to cheer me up.  What a great friend.

He will be missed and will live for ever in our hearts.

My condolences to Kiko's family. I first met Kiko when back in 1993, and worked together for a few years. He was my mentor both at work and in life.  We played basketball,  soccer sometimes. Hang out after work, had some beers. He was always showing up at my house unannounced, but always welcomed. He will be missed. I'm sorry he left this life way too early.  His favorite saying, "Bunch of Rookies" and "I love my Fuego". I'll remember you forever Rico Vanilla!
I am writing to share my thoughts and feelings about the recent passing of my brother. I am still in shock over the news and find it hard to put into words how much he meant to me. Just the afternoon before his passing, we spoke and he seemed to be in great spirits as always. I am going to miss all the calls and conversations we had. In the 13 years we worked together, he was not only a colleague but a dear friend. He brought so much joy and wisdom into my life and I am forever grateful for his advice and friendship. We shared many wonderful moments together, from bike rides to trips to Costco. It is hard to imagine not having him around anymore, but I take comfort in knowing that he was a blessing to have in my life. I will always cherish the memories we shared and hold them close to my heart. Thank you for taking the time to read my thoughts. I hope that we can all find comfort in the memories of the wonderful person that he was.

I am deeply saddened to hear of Rico's passing!

He was such a great guy! Always willing to help where needed, with a smile on his face.

My thoughts and prayers are with his family and loved ones! He loved you boys so very much and would speak of you often!

It is with great shock and sadness that I post this here. Rico was truly one of nicest people I ever worked with. He was always laughing, making jokes, and he loved to listen to me talk bad Spanglish and would always answer back with a smile and a laugh. I used to see him very early in the office after we returned to work. We shared bagels & doughnuts more than a few times, and I used to look forward to talking to him about off roading, the desert, tickets, and making fun of work things. I  felt a sense of loss after he left Farmers, and on more then one occasion would walk in, look at his desk, and hope he was well and thriving. To everyone in his family, I send my deepest and most profound condolences, and have prayed for healing of the immense sense of loss and sadness you must be feeling. I will continue to do this, daily, asking for positivity and love to surround all of you in this most difficult of times. I'm certain he is in a better place, loved and cared for by a benevolent God, who greeted him with a warm embrace and assured him all will be well. Godspeed, Rico "Kiko" You will truly be missed, and never forgotten.
I am sorry for your loss and Rico and I worked together and I am going to miss him. It is hard to believe he is gone. RIP Rico. offering my prayers for the family.
I can't begin to describe the profound sadness I'm feeling . I had the privelege of meeting Rico at work. He was one of the first to make me feel welcome at my new job. Ever since then our bond grew stronger and stronger and I considered him a brother. His infectious personality made him a friend to many. I will miss him dearly, but am extremely thankful to have had him in my life for those way too brief 5 years I knew him.
