Enoch's obituary

Enoch Roach, age 82, died on August 1, 2019. He was born 12-15-1936 in Charlottesville, VA to the late Enoch B. Roach Sr. and Lillie Frances Shifflett Roach. He was preceded in death by his parents, one son, Enoch Russell Roach, his sister, Marie Roach Miller, and a grandson, Marcus Roach. He was married for 52 years to Shirley Peterson Roach of Pahrump, NV and was the father of Roland Russell (Beth) Roach of Milford, Nebraska, Cindy Kissenberger of Alexandria, Virginia and Marie Roach (Mike) Bittinger of Hanover, MD. He is survived by his wife, 3 children and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. He is also survived by two brothers; Randolph Roach of Myrtle Beach, SC, James (Joyce) Roach of Colonial Beach, VA and numerous nieces¸ nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews. He grew up in Virginia, New York and Maryland, moved to Arizona in 1985 and to Pahrump in 2004. He was retired but had worked in various sales jobs including new and used auto sales and as a printing broker. He was a former paratrooper in the Army. He enjoyed bowling and playing cards. He had been very active in bowling, had held numerous positions in the ABC organization including being a director of the men’s association in Washington, D.C. He had been a coach for the junior bowlers in Bowie, MD. There will be no funeral as he donated his body to science.
