Enid's obituary
It’s with much sorrow we are sharing our mother’s passing. She went to heaven March 7th,2025. Born Enid EloiseThompson November 15th, 1932 along with her twin sister Mary in Covina,California. She come from a family of six children.
She and her family moved to Glendora,California then settled in Paso Robles,California where she graduated from Paso Robles High School in 1951. She also graduated from Mount San Antonio College in 1953 proceeded by many secretarial jobs including the secretary for the Chief of police in Paso Robles.
She would marry Fredrick Schwartz and have five children who survive her. She is also survived by her nine grandchildren and one great grandchild.
She was a single mother of five for many years and worked very hard to support our family. Our mother was a remarkable woman who showed grace, selflessness, and great resilience. She was a life long
lover of the Lord and all things Republican and wouldn’t be shy about sharing these facts. You’d often find her with the Fox News blaring and praising President Trump. She was a proud American indeed and very politically inclined. She also volunteered for many Christian organizations and was an active member in her congregations. She particularly loved singing in the choir and participated in many pageants at Christmas and Easter. Most notably she was an international missionary to India twice,Africa,China, and France. We are extremely proud of her legacy of spreading God’s love and leading many to Christ. Shopping however
was her superpower though. That girl loved to shop! She wasn’t a fancy gal and had appreciation
for the simple things in life but one things for sure but she always showed up looking fabulous! Our mother never complained about anything. That’s one of the many things that were admirable about her. Our mom loved life and praised God for everyday and had a grateful heart. She resided in Cherry Valley and Palm Springs in her latter life and had several friends and acquaintances. Seems wherever life took her she had an abundance of dear friends who she’d always have an open door and ear for and if you were lucky one of her jello creations. If you know you know. She would visit her friends in the nursing home and even visit with strangers comforting them with her warmth. She was a very kind soul and her signature smile and laughter will forever be imbedded in our memory and hearts. It saddens us to say Goodbye to our precious mother whom we loved so dearly but her life was truly astounding and something to be celebrated and keep close to our hearts in order to honor her memory for generations to come.
Our sweet mama taught us many things- just not how to live without her. We’re certain she is rejoicing being reunited with all the loved ones that passed before her and is singing with the angels choir! Thank you mom for all you gave us especially your unconditional love and being our beloved cheerleader and prayer warrior all these years. The spiritual foundation you instilled in us is invaluable and we’ll cherish it always as we travel on our life’s journey. Death breaks ties on earth but will be renewed in heaven. We love you forever mama♥️
