Elizabeth "Liz"'s obituary
A devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
For more than 60 years as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses, Elizabeth touched countless lives in a warm and positive way. Her zeal for Jehovah and His truth shaped everything she did. She was always ready to share the Bible’s message with anyone she met.
We will never forget her radiant smile, her unmistakable laughter, and the way she could lift your spirits without even trying. She always had a word of encouragement. No matter how you went in to visit her often with the intention of cheering her up you always left feeling strengthened and uplifted.
Despite the limitations she faced, she was happiest when she could take part in the ministry, attend meetings, and enjoy conventions. Liz, as she was lovingly called, truly cherished life. She viewed every day as a precious gift from Jehovah.
She was kind, steady, faithful, and deeply spiritual. A sister and friend whose absence will be felt by all who knew her.
As we look ahead to the hope of the resurrection, we take comfort in knowing that our lives were richer, fuller, and more joyful because of her. We are confident that Elizabeth rests safely in Jehovah’s memory, and we eagerly look forward to seeing her again in the new world He has promised.
Elizabeth leaves behind a legacy of love and devotion and is cherished by a large family: Two daughters. a son, siblings, nephews, nieces, three grandsons, one granddaughter, five great-grandsons, and two great-granddaughters.
